पुलिस स्रोतों के अनुसार, आरोपियों ने पालसादरी गांव के पास एक पेड़ पर निशाना साधते हुए फायरिंग का अभ्यास किया। अपराध शाखा ने बताया कि शूटर धर्मराज कश्यप और गुरमेल सिंह, जो दोनों हिरासत में हैं, और शिवकुमार गौतम, जो फरार हैं, ने इस झरने के पास फायरिंग की थी।
एक और जांच में यह पता चला कि हत्या में इस्तेमाल किए गए हथियार राजस्थान से लाए गए थे। गिरफ्तार किए गए संदिग्ध राम कनौजिया और भागवत सिंह ओम सिंह ने राजस्थान जाकर तीन में से दो विदेशी पिस्तौल प्राप्त की थीं, जो अपराध में इस्तेमाल की गईं।
हाल ही में, नवी मुंबई के एक स्क्रैप डीलर भागवत सिंह ओम सिंह (32) को शूटरों को हथियार प्रदान करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया।
गिरफ्तार किए गए दस आरोपियों में से पांच ने शुरू में इस काम के लिए ₹50 लाख की मांग की थी, लेकिन बाद में भुगतान पर असहमति और बाबा सिद्धिकी के प्रभाव के कारण उन्होंने अपना प्रस्ताव वापस ले लिया।
इस बीच, पुलिस टीमें फरार आरोपियों शिवकुमार गौतम, शुभम लोंकर और मोहम्मद जीशान अख्तर की तलाश में जुटी हैं, जिनके खिलाफ देश से भागने से रोकने के लिए लुक-आउट सर्कुलर जारी किया गया है।
बीते सप्ताह, जीशान सिद्धिकी, मृतक नेता के पुत्र, ने कहा कि उसके पिता के हत्यारों ने उसकी ओर “नज़रें फेर ली” हैं, लेकिन वह धमकाने के लिए तैयार नहीं है क्योंकि उसके अंदर “सिंह का खून” है और वह अपनी “गर्जन” लेकर चलता है।

In a recent development regarding the Baba Siddique murder investigation, the Mumbai Police have revealed that the shooters involved in the crime practiced their firing skills in a forest near Khopoli. This practice took place in the Raigad district, specifically near a waterfall, prior to the assassination of the former Maharashtra Minister.
Baba Siddique, a prominent politician from Bandra who had recently joined the NCP led by Ajit Pawar, was tragically shot on October 12 near his son’s office in Bandra.

According to police sources, the accused practiced shooting at a tree in the forest near Palasadari village, located close to the Karjat-Khopoli Road waterfall. The crime branch reported that shooters Dharmaraj Kashyap and Gurmail Singh, both in custody, along with the absconding Shivkumar Gautam, had been firing there.
In a further investigation, it was found that the firearms used in the murder were procured from Rajasthan. Arrested suspects Ram Kanoujia and Bhagwat Singh Om Singh traveled to Rajasthan to acquire two out of the three foreign-made pistols used in the crime.
Recently, a scrap dealer from Navi Mumbai named Bhagwat Singh Om Singh (32) was arrested for allegedly supplying a weapon to the shooters.
Among the ten individuals apprehended, five had initially asked for ₹50 lakh to carry out the hit but later retracted their offer due to payment disagreements and concerns over Baba Siddique’s influence.
Currently, police teams are searching for wanted suspects Shivkumar Gautam, Shubham Lonkar, and Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar, for whom a lookout circular has been issued to prevent them from fleeing the country.
Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the slain politician, remarked last week that he feels targeted by his father’s killers, asserting that he cannot be intimidated as he possesses “the blood of a lion” and carries his “roar.”
